Current development release

The app stores the merchant shop domain, installation status, granted access scopes, onboarding confirmations, and versioned search settings. Shopify access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest. A merchant may publish an optional customer-facing support email.

Customer order history is requested directly by the native customer account extension from Shopify for the signed-in customer. Order contents and search text are not sent to or stored in our backend. The extension may keep a disposable customer-scoped cache using Shopify extension storage. The backend does not run search-query analytics, customer tracking, or third-party advertising.

Purpose and providers

We use merchant configuration and credentials to authenticate the installation and publish its settings to Shopify. Shopify supplies the platform and customer APIs. The app backend and database run on our isolated Coolify service. Cloudflare supplies domain and edge services. We do not sell personal data.

Retention and deletion

Installation settings are retained while the app is installed. Uninstall revokes backend sessions and marks the shop inactive. The mandatory Shopify shop-redaction webhook deletes the shop configuration and related records. Webhook delivery receipts contain no order/customer payload and are pruned after 30 days on subsequent delivery processing. Search cache is disposable and can be cleared by the extension’s cache reset.

In this release we hold no customer/order records to return or erase. Shopify customer data-request and redaction webhooks are authenticated and recorded without retaining their customer payload. Future features that require customer records will require an updated policy and data-handling implementation before release.

Your choices

Merchants can change settings or uninstall through Shopify. Customers should send Shopify account/order requests to the merchant. You may contact us to request access, correction, deletion, or information about data handling and applicable rights. Shopify’s own platform privacy terms also apply.
